MiNT project at Esders: schoolgirls explore technologies at Esders
At Esders, promoting young talent is a top priority! That’s why we were pleased to welcome 11 schoolgirls from the Hasetal School Centre in Herzlake last week as part of the MiNT project (Mädchen in Naturwissenschaft und Technik – Girls in Science and Technology).
Under the guidance of our apprentices Kevin and Ole, the pupils were able to gain practical experience: one group learned how to bend and solder components, while the other group carried out their first programming exercises with an Arduino UNO. Using glowing LEDs and initial programming commands, they were able to understand how digital commands and electronic components interact. With plenty of curiosity and enthusiasm, they worked on the projects and experienced how exciting technology can be.
We are pleased to be able to provide young talents with such insights.
