Pressure test on water pipelines
Performing a pressure test on a water pipeline is essential to ensure the integrity and safety of the system. Conducting these tests on a regular basis will ensure that there are no leaks and that the system is working properly. This testing method involves gradually increasing the water pressure in the pipes using a testing device, revealing any leaks, weaknesses or defects.
Pressure tests are vital because even small leaks can cause serious damage, including bursting of pipes. They are also effective in detecting hidden leaks that are otherwise difficult to find. The frequency of these tests varies depending on changes in the pipe network and significant drops in water pressure that can be an indication of leaks.

Transmission of test results or other measurement data can be completely digital. Our smart memo has 4G.
The smart memo can be used for both water and gas pipe jacking.
Fully automatic pressure tests on water pipelines
- Pressure build-up phase: the pipe is pressurised within a specified time, controlled and assessed by the smart memo.
- Pre-test: pipe stabilises, run time is recorded.
- Pressure drop test: the amount of residual air is determined automatically, the smart memo monitors the flow measurement and assesses the results.
- Final phase: includes evaluation of pressure changes in the pipelines according to the applicable requirements for the pipe.
- Prolongation of main test phase: if necessary, the test is extended for further evaluation.
- Pressure release phase: pressure is gradually reduced to safely depressurise the pipe after the test.
