Testing of wastewater pipelines
Option Wastewater EN 1610
Menu-driven test sequences for leak testing of wastewater pipes can be installed via the Wastewater EN 1610 option. Within the menu item, you can select whether the test should be carried out according to the requirements of EN 1610, DWA-A 139 or DWA-M 149-6. The smart memo guides you through the test in an automated process, displays measurement data and progressions, and stores and documents all relevant test data.
- EN 1610 Procedure A (air)
The tests with air as the test medium are carried out in accordance with the regulations mentioned. The EDS2-P 1 bar pressure sensor is required for this. - EN 1610 Procedure W (water)
The tests with water as the test medium are carried out in accordance with the regulations mentioned. The EDS2 level probe (plus level probe tripod) is required for this. The smart level control can optionally be used for automatic level control and measurement of the supplied water quantity.
EN 1610 Procedure A (air)
EN 1610 Procedure W (water)
The inspection in the Wastewater Procedure Water is usually applied to manholes or pipes connected to a manhole, so that the inspection can be carried out using the level measurement method. With the help of the EDS2 level probe, the water level in the manhole filled with water can be measured and checked. If there is a leak in the manhole (or the adjacent pipe), the resulting drop in the level will be reliably detected by the smart memo.
